Join us at The Bridge, America's first carbon-neutral student rental, as we kick off the project and begin deconstruction of the existing building. The project will recycle about 80% of the original building, obtaining tax deductions for donated materials and reusing most of the lumber reclaimed from this building, and others. We will go over the design techniques and value-added steps that make reclaimed materials suitable for the structure and high-end finishes in a building at a fraction of the cost of purchasing new. Learn techniques to save money and build sustainably by reusing and recycling materials.
